Last month, Mental Health Awareness Month was top priority at Talent Retriever. Moments of mindfulness were embraced companywide bringing teams headquartered in MA together with those remote across the globe. 


Each day Retrievers were greeted by “morning inspiration” from David Barbato, CEO/Visionary. Notes addressed to the Retrievers helped to set a daily intention or thought provoking moment of reflection, encouraging each employee to, “be the best they can be everyday.” Thoughtful videos, motivational speeches, and quotes from both the pros, and Visionary himself were featured in each note to promote words of encouragement, support, and positivity. 


Fridays featured weekly moments of meditation. Led by fellow Retrievers, Izzy and Madison, employees enjoyed the calming sounds of Tibetan singing bowls over Zoom. Additionally, the duo led a peaceful chair yoga session to help expose employees to different forms of meditation. 


The month was wrapped up with a companywide step challenge that ran from May 1st through May 31st. Each employee was assigned to one of three competing teams, reporting their daily step count to their team captains. Together, Talent Retriever completed an impressive 2,691,863 steps, totaling roughly 1,346 miles (average of 2,000 steps = 1 mile)
